Payment Solutions was started in 1983 by Paul Krupsaw. With the experience of several years as a shareholder in a major check guarantee franchise, Paul was familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of the check guarantee industry and digital authorization terminals. His unique perspective on payment acceptance and extensive business background was combined to form the company now known as Payment Solutions. Rapid success has enabled Payment Solutions to become the only nationwide provider of total payment guarantee: check guarantee, credit card guarantee and collection services (through an affiliate, KMC Recovery Services, Inc.).

Payment Solutions initially focused on credit card guarantee. It required no phone calls, no log sheets and no special equipment. Our program was compatible with the merchant's current credit card processing and check acceptance programs. The merchant forwarded their declines, charge backs and/or returned checks to Payment Solutions. If that merchant had followed a few basic requirements, they were guaranteed reimbursement of the submitted items, less any applicable contracted discount

In 1985, Payment Solutions started a unique check guarantee program which was eagerly accepted in the marketplace. This program offers check guarantee to Clients with the same ease-of-use as our credit card program. Our Clients eliminated the need log transactions or make telephone calls. The service cut down on their internal processing costs and saved them up to 50% of the costs incurred with other check guarantee programs.

Soon after the beginning of the check guarantee program, Payment Solutions realized that businesses needed professional expertise in collecting unpaid debt. The solution was to create an effective debt recovery company that utilizes the latest in collection technology and employs the most professional collection representatives. Consequently, Collect One was formed and has been one of the industries most trusted debt recovery companies in the nation.

In 2005, Payment Solutions has positioned itself to be the leader in electronic payment services. Our web based processing system is a one-stop gateway for all payment needs. It utilizes the latest in Check 21 and ACH check processing technology to accelerate cash flow and add greater flexibility in accepting payments. Our multi-optional approach to payment services reflects a “state of the art” program to current and future payment technologies.
